Participating Massachusetts Markets and/or Radio Stations (collectively referred to herein as the “Station or Stations”)

The Company may conduct the Sweepstakes concurrently and simultaneously on several participating radio stations owned and not owned by the Company, and in various jurisdictions, and the Company may add or remove participating stations or change call letters of any participating station at any time during the Sweepstakes as announced on the affected station.  Participating stations are listed above.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.  (1) SECURING A QUOTE FROM ALLSTATE INSURANCE COMPANY, ALLSTATE FIRE AND CASUALTY INSURANCE COMPANY, OR ANY OF THEIR SUBSIDIARIES OR AFFILIATES OR (2) AN ALLSTATE COMPANY INSURANCE POLICY PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE ODDS OF WINNING. Void where prohibited.  Odds of winning depend upon the number eligible entries received for the applicable random drawing.  Only one (1) entry per person per household and/or email address for the entire Sweepstakes period, regardless of the method of entry. If multiple entries are found, they will all be disqualified.   

1.  ENTRY: Sweepstakes is offered beginning on November 16, 2009. To enter, complete and submit as directed the online entry form available at http://www.win396.com by 11:59 PM ET, December 6, 2009. Or, enter by completing an official entry form available, while supplies last, at a participating local radio station event.  Deposit the completed official entry form in entry box available at the radio station event. Limit of one entry per person, household or email address for the entire Sweepstakes period. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned.

For purposes of these Official Rules, “receipt” of an online entry occurs when Sponsor’s servers record the entry information.  Any automated computer receipt (such as one confirming delivery of email) does not constitute proof of actual receipt by Sponsor of an online entry.  Any attempt to enter multiple times will result in voiding of all attempted entries and disqualification of entrant. Entries may only be made according to the methods described above.  Every online entry must be manually key-stroked by entrant.  Automated entries of any kind are not permitted and will be disqualified.  Only original official entry form as obtained at radio station event will be accepted for entry; copies/mechanical reproductions or entry forms obtained via any other means will not be accepted and are void.     

Sponsor and its agents (including Company) assume no responsibility for any computer, online, telephone or technical malfunctions that may occur, stolen, late, lost, damaged, irregular, copied/mechanically reproduced, illegible or misdirected official entry forms, for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users, any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes, or any technical or human error which may occur in the receipt or processing of entries in the Sweepstakes.  Sponsor and its agents (including Company) assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alteration of, entries.  Sponsor and its agents (including Company) are not responsible for any problems, failures, or technical malfunction of any telephone networks or lines, computer online systems, servers, providers, computer equipment, software, email, players or browsers on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet, at any website or on account of any combination of the foregoing.  Sponsor and its agents (including Company) are not responsible for any injury or damage to participants or to any computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading materials in this Sweepstakes.  If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes in whole or in part and select winners in a manner deemed by Sponsor in its sole discretion to be fair, appropriate and consistent with these Official Rules. Notice of any cancellation, termination or modification, will be posted on the web site listed above.  Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering or attempting to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or the Website, violating the Official Rules, or acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive matter, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.  CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS.  SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.  Entry data that have been tampered with or altered are void.

The person submitting an online entry must be the authorized account holder of the email address provided with the entry.  “Authorized account holder” is the natural person who is assigned to an email address by the Internet Access Provider, online service provider, or other organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses.  In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an online entry, the entry will be deemed to be submitted by the person in whose name the email account is registered. 

Allstate Insurance Company (“Sponsor”) has paid a promotional fee to have its name used in connection with this Sweepstakes.  However, the Company is responsible for the operation, management and all issues associated with this Sweepstakes.  Any trade names, trademarks, or service marks shown as part of the materials associated with the Sweepstakes are the property of their respective owners.

2. ELIGIBILITY:  Sweepstakes is offered in and is open only to legal U.S. residents age 18 or older who reside in one of the following Sponsor marketing regions in the State of Massachusetts: New Bedford, Springfield/Holyoke, and Worcester. In addition, entrant must reside within the listening area of the applicable radio station (i.e., the radio station selected by potential entrant in drop-down box for online entry or the radio station identified on official entry form, as appropriate). Final decision as to whether an entrant resides in a specified Sponsor marketing region and in the listening area of the applicable radio station shall be made by Sponsor.  Employees of Sponsor, its parent, affiliated and subsidiary companies, advertising and promotion agencies, Katz Communications, Inc. and participating radio stations and the immediate families (spouse and parents, siblings and children and their spouses) and members of the households of such individuals are not eligible.  Void in all other jurisdictions and where prohibited or restricted by law. 

3. PRIZES:  21 (twenty one) Grand Prizes (1 per “week” (as defined in Section 4 below), per radio station or station group (as defined in 3A below)), each prize consisting of one (1) $396 “gas cash” or “grocery cash” gift card. Total Retail Value of all prizes: $8,316.  Gift cards are subject to terms of use, including any expiration dates, promulgated by issuer of card. Taxes on prize and all expenses not specified herein related to acceptance and use of prize are winner’s sole responsibility. Limit one (1) prize per person/household/address/e-mail address.  No prize transfer.  No cash or other prize substitution except by Sponsor who reserves right to substitute a prize, in whole or in part, for one of comparable or greater value in the event of unavailability for any reason.  Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received for each random drawing.   

3A. Weekly Prize allocation by station/station group:  A total of 7 (seven) Grand Prizes will be awarded each week, 1 (one) per station or station group to be assigned as follows:

4. WINNER SELECTION/NOTIFICATION:  Winners will be selected via random drawings to be conducted by the Company, independent judges.  A random drawing will consist of all eligible entries received for a particular radio station during a “week” of the Sweepstakes as follows:

A “week” starts at 12:01 AM PST on the indicated Start Date and ends at 12:00 AM (midnight) PST on the indicated End Date. There will be one random drawing per local radio station/group, for a total of twenty-one (21) random drawings. 

For Weeks 1 and 2, entries will only be accepted online at http://www.win396.com.  Regardless of when a radio station event is held, all eligible official entry forms deposited in entry box at that radio station event will be included in the Week 3 random drawing for the applicable radio station.  For online and radio station event entry, an entry may be eligible only for the random drawing for the applicable radio station/group (i.e., the radio station/group selected by potential entrant in drop-down box for online entry or the radio station identified on official entry form, as appropriate). Eligible, non-winning online entries will be retained for subsequent weekly random drawing(s), as applicable.

Winners will be notified by telephone to confirm eligibility on or about five (5) business days after a random drawing.  Two attempts will be made over a five (5) day period.  If winner is not reached, does not return messages or if a winner cannot confirm eligibility as determined by the Company to its satisfaction in its sole discretion prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate (selected from among all remaining eligible entries received for the applicable week’s drawing for a particular radio station).  Confirmed winners will receive prizes by mail at the address indicated on their entry.   

5.  GENERAL:  By participating, entrants agree (a) to the Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and the Company and their agents, which decisions shall be final and binding in all respects; (b) to release and hold harmless Sponsor, Company, their parent and subsidiary companies, advertising and promotions agencies and participating radio stations and their respective officers, directors and employees from any and all liability, loss, injury or damage of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from participation in the Sweepstakes and the acceptance and use of any prize; (c) if the winner, to the use by Sponsor and its designees of his/her name, voice, likeness/photograph for advertising and promotional purposes in any media without additional compensation, permission or notice, with any claim to royalty, right or remuneration (other than the prize) for such use being waived; and (d) that Sponsor and Company have not made nor are they responsible for any warranty, representation or guarantee, expressed or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize, including but not limited to its quality.

By participating in the Sweepstakes, where allowed by law, participants agree that the Sponsor may disclose personal information obtained from participants in the Sweepstakes to third parties and use such information for marketing and other purposes.  Information collected from participants is subject to Allstate’s Privacy Policy. The Sweepstakes will be governed by the internal laws of the State of Illinois and any proceeding or action regarding the Sweepstakes must be brought only in a federal or state court located in the State of Illinois.  Any claims or damages will be limited to actual out-of-pockets costs (if any) and shall not include punitive, consequential or incidental costs, claims or damages.
